Self-Learning is Innate and Holistic

The Deeper Mind in the Making (diagram)

Self-learning, as a holistic transformational exercise, means many things to many people. This list gives you an idea of what self-learning can do to create meaning for your life.

  • Self-learners tap into their innate intelligence—just as you did as a child!
  • Self-learning means that learning, thinking and leading can be deepened, self-directed and personalized by every individual.
  • Self-learning, at its most influential, involves deeper connections with others.
  • Self-learning cannot be forced. Self-learners choose to respond to invitations.
  • Self-learning brings deeper joy and fulfillment at any stage of life through gentle evolvement.
  • Self-learning promotes creativity, curiosity, self-management, and critical thinking. It’s a deeper transformation process of both thinking and unthinking.
  • Self-learners are conscious of the importance of a deeper connection to the different dimensions of oneself, one’s relationships, the universe, and all that exists within the web of life.
  • Self-learners create happiness through the flow and integration of caring to learn about themselves and for themselves—physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually—in a deeper way.

Create your own reality or risk having it being created for you.

Potential Self Learning Journey

Your Life's Self-Learning Journey

Self-learning is a process. You evolve as you journey through each stage, like climbing a mountain. The first part of the self-learning process is awareness. Then ask ourself: What is the purpose of these stages in my life? How do I apply them to my life?

As a self-learner, allow yourself to make mistakes and take risks as you travel your journey. Then continually assess how you are progressing by using feedback from yourself and others.

The diagram shows your potential self-learning journey.

EGO, ECO and SEVA, coined by Daniel Wahl, are three models of the world: EGO, where man stands above all at the peak of a pyramid; ECO, where man and woman position themselves inside nature, in relationship with ecology; and SEVA, where man and woman serve together to support and nurture, giving back more than they take.

The deeper self-learner becomes aware that they can co-create their own future.
